important drive shaft question....

important drive shaft question....

i have a 84 z28 t-5 with a 71 350, will any driveshaft from a third generation camaro,auto or manual, fit into my 84?????

only the one from a 82 auto (with the 200 trans)

it may be cheaper and easier to get yours modified or one made than to find a junk one.

If you have a T-5 then any driveshaft from a 700R4/T-5 car will work just fine.

I have one in my garage, from a 1982 Z28 that had the 200 Tranny. The shaft measures 44 3/4".

I got it from a close friend of mine and I'm 90% sure of the above but maybe someone can verify the dimension. He gave it to me for my 87, but then I remembered that they were different.

Transmission: TH400 4,000 stall
Axle/Gears: Currie 9", 4.56 gears
Damn, my car is in the transmission shop right now but that number sounds close for the driveshaft length.
