burnouts kill transmissions?
I am going to be getting my transmission rebuilt and getting the transgo shift kit put in, what I am wondering is will me doing burnouts kill my transmission. I have only had my car a month and a half and when i got it the tranny was starting to go and I think my burnouts and driving might have made it worse its still driveable just doesnt shift firmly. Now only having the car for a month and a half i have seemed to make my one tire just barely inspectable from laying tire and doing burnouts. It had 4 months of wear when i bought the car and now its barely inspectable. Will this kind of driving eat my new tranny pretty fast also?

burnouts=hard on everything
auto trannys get really hot when you do burnouts in them
what kinda tranny do you have, some take it better than others, but burnouts will definatly wear it out faster than driving it normally.

Yep, and I think he's talkin about powerbraking too, which isn't good either.
