well, I crawled under the *** of my car today and found the code stamped on the axle tube of my rear end, can someone tell me what it is, I know its a 10 bolt but I am trying to figure out if it is supposed to be posi., it acts like an open but I have a true T-A and am thinking that it should be a posi. the code is "24-C-P-101 or 2H-C-P101", thanks for the info.

 

while you were under it you should of pulled the cover and then you'd know for sure what you have.

 

Yes I know, but I didn't have time to go through all that and I didn't have any oil to put back in. I will do it some day soon but I thought the code would be enough.

 

trouble with trusting the code is the rear would have to of been untouched with however many owners have had your car ,considering the age of a thirdgen it's highly likely that what is in it now isn't what the general built or shipped it with.
