tranny crossmember, need help fast!

i recently switched the 700 out of an 84 Z HO to my 86 Z tpi. I noticed that the crossmember out of the 84 had a rubbermounted section holding the tranny to the frame, while the one off my 86 was solid mounted, just a solid piece of metal. My question is which one should i use? Urgent replies are needed as i need to have the tranny in before the end of the day. Much appreciated.

I don't think it matters much... the one with the biscuits might transmit a little less vibes into the car though... my 83 has one like that...

Those "biscuits" are just another potential piece to fail later. Les parts = less problems. My old 82 T/A had that "biscuit" style in ti and I broke it twice before I swapped for a later style one.
