Rear end swap
I'm swapping the motor in my 91 RS for an L89 out of a 92 Z28. While looking for parts online I came across a 3:73 Posi 10 bolt with disc brakes out of an 83 Trans Am. It's a good price and I want to swap it for my stocker rear, but the ad says it'll only fit in 82-87 F-body's and not my 91. Is this true or could I do the swap without any problems?
Thanks

I think the only difference would be the splines on the axles. (Shouldn't matter if your swapping the whole deal)
The older model 3rd gen had a 26 spline axle, while the newer have 28 splines.
I can't think of any other changes...
