2 questions..stall & gears

First question is I have a stock 1991 RS with a 305tbi. What rear gear ratio is stock, because I need to swap gears and need to know what carrier it is (I think it's 2:73 or something like that).

Second question is who has the best deals on stall converters (3000 and above)?

Any links to there site?

Thanks

The torque converter will do the most for the money, then cam (mild), then rear end gears. Let me know if I can be of help?

You can help, can you tell me what gear carrier I have stock? 2:73's or 3:08's?

Thanks

you need to check your rpo codes or for a tag on the rear. I think on the rpo codes look for the one that says "GU" I think. It will have a number beside it. This should tell you what gear you have.

3.08 and 2.73 use the same carrier. the other is the 3.23 and numerically higher carrier.
