I just finished an engine swap and I pulled the transmission as well. It is an 83 z28 with a T-5. In the process of pulling the trans out I lost alot of trans fluid. What I need to know is...On the T-5, it looks like there are 2 drain plugs. Which on is the one for the transmission fluid? The top on or bottom one?

 

The one on the top is for filling .the one on the bottom os for draining. watch out .....i think on the drivers side there is something that looks like a fill plug but it hold the reverse gear...and if you take it out...you have to open up the trans to fix it. .....the plugs are on the pass. side
