Engine: LO3 with Comp Cam

Transmission: 700R4

Axle/Gears: 4th gen rear

Shift *** question

How do you get the shift *** off the shaft so i can pull off the center console.

I have a 1991 RS (V8 TBI) with a automatic tranny (700R4).

There's a small 'staple' gizmo facing the front on the ****. Slide it out with a flat screwdriver and the **** comes right off.
