Pulling Axles off a 9 bolt

Guys, any idea how to pull the axles? I know how to do it on the ten bolt, the pin and screw are right in front of me. But the nine bolt looks a little different. Can anyone help? Thanks

Remove the nuts on the four lugs holding the bearing retainer plate. It sits between the rearend housing end and the axle flange. You'll probably have to tap or lightly pound on the axle flange in an outward direction to get them to start sliding out. Be sure to catch it and carfully remove them as soon as they start to slide out.

Hey Christobal, thanks for the reply. The reason I was asking was because I need the brake mounting plates (? I think thats the name for it) from the nine bolt to put on my new ten bolt. The problem is they didn't match up right. Was I putting them on incorrectly? If not does anyone have any 10 bolts laying around that they could take them off of? ... Also, If anyone needs a gas tank I have an extra one.

If you need 10 bolt disc backing plates, just order new ones from GM. They're about $10 each. The 9 and 10 bolt plates arent' the same so that's why they won't work.

Here's the info:

Part number 10136854 (right) and part number 10136853 (left), a measley $10.73 each

PS: E-mail me about that 9 bolt you're ripping apart.
