t-56 swap: use LT1 bellhousing? or aftermarket one?

just what the post says: should i use the stock LT1 housing (which i know bolts right in), or use an aftermarket piece (lakewood, hays, etc.)??

when would it be necessary to go to an aftermarket housing? thats basically what i need to know...

im runnin the LT1 housing that came with my tranny.
like you said, bolts right up.
the only time you use the aftermarket bell housing is for the tremec aftermarket t56, not the GM OEM Borg Warner 6 spd found in the 93-97 f bods
