I know the TransGo Throttle vavle comes with a little spacer plate that has the Words 'Shift Kit' Installed on it, and a red spring. Now, my question is "Does that spacer plate only come with the TransGo Throttle Valve, and Red spring?"

I got the bright idea to try to install this thing myself, and now that i have it apart it seems to be all the stuff i'm putting in. Which, by the way, confuses me even more on why this stupid car won't shift out of first gear. I mean, the govenor is ok, if it has this 'self cleaning valve' which doesn't appear to be stuck (at least now that i have the vavle body out of the car)...... ugh.

So, if it does have the 'self cleaning valve', the gov is ok, what else could it be? I think i'm going to take a bit of a break today, its just giving me too much of a headache right now.

Have you checked the case for a clogged governor filter? It
is in a hole at the rear of the case. You must have the valve
body, spacer plate and gaskets off to see it. BTW, did it shift OK
before the shift kit was installed?
