flexplate question

I am swiching over from a manual to an auto and I was wondering what flex ple I'll need (168or 153). The tranny I'm putting in is a th 350 that was in a 3rd gen. the car is a 82 t/a

count hoe many teeth your flywheel is and get a flex plate of the same teeth.

Really depends on what your starter needs, some aftermarket starters don't care which fp they get used with.

Don't go counting teeth, just measure the diameter. 153 tooth are just about 12 1/4 inch across and 168 tooth are 14 inches across.
