hey guys, I found a posi carrier with 3.42 ring and pinion gears on ebay for sale. It was pulled off of a 2000 Camaro SS and has 14k miles. It looks like a good unit but can u guys tell me if you think it looks good and what a good price for me to pay would be. Please respond quickly it ends in like 6 hours.

looks good, i think the ss, and the ram airs get a heavy duty posi unit from slp, which slp will sell you for 500 (yes they are proud of it) or you can do like i did and buy a z28 take out zexel from slp for 100 and then buy gears (they take out the z28 zexel, and put in the heavy duty to make a ss, among other things). depends on how high his reserve is set at. personally i wouldnt bid because those 3.42's are desirable to me, but you might be different.

That's what I was thinking too about the 3.42's I figure that if I can get the whole thing pretty cheap as long as the 3.42's are good I'm not at a loss. I was going to buy 3.42's anyway.
