Need tranny help!!!!

Little history first. When I first got the tranny rebuilt a little over a yr ago, I could go WOT in OD , and the tranny slipped bad on the 1-2 shift.

I did a cam swap in Aug. and no more slipping. Also, when I go to WOT, it would kick out of OD into 3rd.

Well, for a few weeks it did this, and then all of sudden, one time when I went to WOT, it felt like the car was in nuetral, and just freely revved, well it's done it every tiem since, only a few, as something is wrong... any help??

When I floor the motor, you know how it is supposed to drop into 3rd gear on it's own.... Well, it did this a few times after the cam install, but now when I floor it in OD, it's like it's in N and it will just rev up like if I floored it in N, but I'm still in OD.

When you put it in the "D" position and go about 60 mph and let off the throttle, does it deaccelerate or go into a false neutral?

Hmm, I'll have to try that out next time I go home and the car is running, intalling new heads, exh and carb, will be a few months prolly.

I remember when I first got the car, it had no OD but when in OD gear, and let off the gas, it went into a false neutral.

But like I said, I haven't tried the D thing yet.

What would that mean?
