What do I need to know before installing a 4th gen differential in my 88 iroc?
A friend of mine has a 4th gen rear end that I will like to install in my third gen.
Will I be able to use my stock wheels and tires? (stock iroc 88 16x8 whells and 245-50-16 tires)
Will I be able to use wider tires on the rear as well, with my stock wheels, like the 255-50-16, without any problem?
Thanks for your help guys.

Dude, seriously, do a search on this. It is asked about daily.
Do yourself a favor and get all new bolts ahead of time.
Your stock wheels will stock out 1.5 inches farther on each side with the 4th gen rear and 3rd gen offset wheels.
