Hurst/b&m Shifter Intall

ARE THESE AS EASY TO INSTALL AS I'VE HEARD? JUST PUT STOCK SHIFTER IN NEUTRAL, UNBOLT, PULL OUT AND THEN DROP AFTERMARKET SHIFTER IN AND BOLT DOWN?

ANYTHING TO BE CAREFUL OFF WHEN INSTALLING?

LMAO, man who told you that, it may be simple, but there's more to it than that.

I for one am not good at workin on cars, so I had my dad do it almost 2 yrs ago. Took him about 3 hrs. Would have taken longer, but we used the stock shifter cable, which will involve some fab work.

I'm very happy with the B&M though.

Just a side note, those crappy seat covers are off, and there aren't so many loose wires anymore, lol.

yeah it's that easy. you'll spend more time on the boot and removing any plastic that might be in the way than you'll spend getting the shifter out. all the linkage is internal so the only thing in your way is 4 bolts. be a good time to drain the trans and refill it thru the shifter hole.

Dont' forget about cuttin the console and all. It may sound simple I guess, just time consuming. I'm not one for patience.

Turn the caps lock off please, hard on the eyes. Should be a simple swap for a 5 speed.
