rear end length
hey does any one know the rear end length on a stock 84 camaro? i am going to put a 9" in my camaro for drag racing and need to know what length the stock one is so i can find one that well work (i am not looking for one from moser's or any thing like that need to save some $$$)

how you going to make it work if it isn't for a f body? since you're going to race it do you really want the stock width? 56" backing plate to backing plate is close to if not the factory measurement.

do you know the overall length/with??? and i found whre i can get the brackets so i can put them on my self. if i dont go with the competition engineeting ladder bar sub fram and a set of ladder bars.

wow these rears are wider than i assumed, just for the hay of it ill add this info: truck rear axles through 69 were 55.5" from back plate to back plate, and 70-72 ones were 57" and 73- through 80's and probably early 90's also were 56.25" or so, some had 11 5/32" x 2.75" brakes and so are 1.5" wider, this goes for 8.875" and 8.5" axles both, 8.5" are dana 44 and GM corp 10 bolt rears.
