'93 F-body T56/'94 Vette Lt1 Clutch Question
Any help on this would be appreciated. I have a 1994 Corvette Lt1 and 1993 T56 6 speed from a Z28. I need a clutch kit and flywheel. I've been told that I need to get Corvette specific parts because the flywheel is "Dual Mass" whatever that means. My real queastion is Do I have to get Corvette specific stuff or can I get by with an F-body clutch kit and flywheel? If anyone has dealt with this...please let me know. The reason I am trying to go with the F-body stuff is because it is much cheaper. Also, places to get a clutch would help.

The 1993 T56 from an F will bolt right up to the LT1. You can use the 93 F bell; clutch; and flywheel from F.
I have been curious for quite some time about the differences between the Y-body pull clutch and the 93-97 F-body pull clutch.
