B&M sucks? Well what else is there?

I bought a B&M holeshot 2400, but I'll sure as poop get rid of it in a hurry if it sucks. Anyone know a cost effective GOOD torque converter? I wont be running more than 500 ft-lbs before its over. BUT I DONT WANT TO SPEND 700 BUCKS EITHER...so all you knowledgeable people, gimme some ideas

It won't give you the stall speed your looking for, the the good old L35 converter really woke my engine up compared to the stock converter. Very cheap too.

You get what you pay for. Cheap converters are cheap. If you need a high stall performance converter that will last a long time, you're going to pay the price.

My 8" 5700 stall converter cost $1200 Canadian. It's built to handle the abuse of a transbrake or NOS.
