I bought a B&M holeshot 2400, but I'll sure as poop get rid of it in a hurry if it sucks. Anyone know a cost effective GOOD torque converter? I wont be running more than 500 ft-lbs before its over. BUT I DONT WANT TO SPEND 700 BUCKS EITHER...so all you knowledgeable people, gimme some ideas

You get what you pay for. Cheap converters are cheap. If you need a high stall performance converter that will last a long time, you're going to pay the price.
My 8" 5700 stall converter cost $1200 Canadian. It's built to handle the abuse of a transbrake or NOS.
