3.23s or 3.42s?
I've got my Zexel-Torsen posi...and now I just need some gears to go with it. I've got it narrowed down to GM Motives, but I'm not sure which ratio to go with. It's a 305...auto, and is my daily driver. Eventually I will be putting a 350 in it, but I stress eventually. I do a good amount of highway travel, and was hoping to get decent milage, but also good response. Help me out yall.

3.42 4 sure, 3.73's be even better cause you still have the OD, but the 3.42 are a "basic" all around gear for these cars. I ran em all year and hate them, needed 3.73 for 26" tall tires 4.11 for the new 28" slicks.

Well, I decided to go with the 3.42s. I was looking at www.gearsareus.com at the Motive gears. They have two options though.....regular $130 and performance $176. What's the difference in the two? Also, do I need a new speedo gear or something like that, so I get an accurate reading? And if so, where would I get one?
