my 3.23 feels weird

I have had a V6 2.73 for the last 4 years, and now I just bought a 86 IROC with 3.23's and limited-slip posi. How much of a difference should it feel?Because when the IROC is going around 30 and up and I let of the gas it feels like its grippng and letting go rather fast.It upshifts fine except for a little hesitation first thing in the morning.Am I just not used to the different gears yet? Thanks

I have a better explanation. It feels like its declerating when I let off the gas almost like slight touching of the brakes. The V6 just keeps coasting

It sound like you are not used to V-8 torque when the engine is braking when you let off the gas.

Did you put 2.73's in your V6??? They never came with 2.73's. Only 3.23 and 3.42.

Thanks, its a big difference from the V6,but I'm getting used to it.I drove a friends TBI V8 awhile back and it didn't feel much different or faster than my V6,thats why I got the TPI.
