Ok here is the deal, i took all my tbi bull crap off my crate 350 and put on a card (the guy i bought it off of used stock stuff on the motor) and i basically have nothing hooked up uder the hood except what is needed for the swap.... well i was reading and i was wondering about the tranny with my computer still hooked up will my tranny (700R4) still lock up the converter?? or do i need to get/make a lock up switch??

I wondered the same thing when I did my swap. For me the answer was no. The converter will no longer keep the lock up function. I believe it has something to do with the speed sensor or the throttle postion sensor. But to the point I don't think it will work without the computer hooked up properly.
