Pressure regulator valve

Does anyone know a procedure for removing the pressure regulator valve cap in a 700r4? I have mine stuck in the hole without the valve in place, or the sping. It is tight in place and dont know how to get it out. I was installing a shift kit and got myself into this mess.

As long as the c clip is out the valve should fall down, if not get a screw driver and wiggle the valve a little or tap the case. Sounds like a B&M install to me if so DO NOT USE the line bias blocker rod or street strip accumulator spacers.

As a last resort..

You might have to fill the tranny, start the engine and put it in
gear (forward or reverse) so the pump will blow the valve into the pan. I've seen this posted on this board or turbobuick.com
