im putting a performance 350 in my RS in place of the stock 305... its gonna be a big jump in power and i am worried about my transmission... my car has 71,8** miles on it.... w/ B&M shift kit, torque converter and replace the rear w/ POSI (any suggestions on what to replace it w/?)... soo any insight on how my trans is gonna hold up?

I'd guess you've got about 3 days...

Seriously, about the only thing you've got to worry about is the B&M kit. While you're getting ready to do the engine thing, get a hold of Dana at Pro Built for a proper Transgo kit. When you pull the engine, pull the tranny and put the kit in.

If you're happy with the current gear ratio you have, a Power Trax allows you to go posi without the expense of gear setup. If you're doing gears, might as well get a posi carrier to match your gear type (3-series, 2-series, etc.). Have the axle tubes welded full around, and put on a hard cover with bearing saddle support. That'll handle the typical hopped-up 350.

run a search on the b&m shift kit and you will see why five7kid said that.
