Transmission: 700R4

700r4 Over Drive Questions

My car is computer operated but I took the computrized HEI distributor off and put a vacuum advanced HEI distributor on it....will I have to buy a lockup kit for my 700r4? It doesn't want to kick into overdrive now....I think its because I put that new distributor in and it's messing with my computer......but I don't know????

PLEASE HELP

It is the lockup in overdrive that is not working. I do not know what you need to do to solve this one easily, ask transfixleo.
