I bought a truck with a very modified TPI motor and 700r4. Since it's gotten colder outside I have had to increase my idle to about 1000 rpms to keep it running at stop lights. When it's warm I can manage about 750 rpm and do not seem to notice the TC staying locked until I hit a few mphs and it shifts into first. It shifts very crisply and I beleive it must have a stock TC as I pretty much have to ride the brakes around the parking lots. Now that it's cold it is becoming a little scary to drive it tight quarters as it want to push the front end around. I plan on a higer stall TC in the near future but is there something I can check on to see if the TC is unlocking correctly?
