driveshaft length
I have an 86 IROC with a recently installed TH-400 with the 4 inch tail shaft. The corresponding yoke is the skinny yoke with the longer spline-shaft. My question is what is the exact length of the driveshaft? The rearend is stock.

Axle/Gears: 3.08 7.625"
th400 short tail is 29" overall, the tranny you did have in the car was 31 11/16" overall, so....
measure from axle yoke to the tip of tail of tranny
measure from axle yoke to the tip of tail of tranny
