how much h.p.?
how much horsepower and torque can the stock 700r hold in my 91b4c and what would be the best aproach to beef it up to handle around 500 h.p. thanks

Right around 350hp with 365ft/lbs torque is pretty normal for these boxes. I run a zz4 block with a stock 700, no mods. For HP applications my friends shop reinforces the case along with quite a few other changes. Probuilt here on the site specializes in HP 700 boxes, I suggest talking with him.
