Shifter options besides B&M?

My IROC has a B&M Megashifter in it and I need to change it out. I have a bad rotary cuff in my right shoulder and this thing is just too big a PITA for me to shift under acceleration. From everything I have searched and read the stiffness is normal for the B&M and there isnt much I am going to be able to do about it.
I would like to install an aftermarket shifter that has positive detent between the gears and doesnt require an arm like a gorrilla to shift. Suggestions anyone?
Thanks

My buddy has the hust V-Matic in his 80 Camaro on a turbo 350. I know you can get them for 700r4s too. They are like $10 more than the megashifter. Jegs and summit has them. His is real smooth and easy to use. Just like the B&M shift pattern etc... Would it help to put something like sewing machine oil on the shifter and cable?

Good luck

Hurst Takes some getting used to but it's nice and smooth. Think there's one without the big handle too hehe just a quarter stick.

Shifter options

Trans am- I have a 700 R4
Evil Cartman- I like that one in the pic. That works a lot smoother than the B&M?
Black85- No man I have oiled and adjusted it to death. Bottom line is you gotta bang it hard to get it to move. Wouldnt be a problem if I hadnt tore the **** outta my shoulder racing Enduros a few years back.

Yep, easy to move back and forth. Buddy of mine has the B&M Megashifter and it's 10x harder to move the thing through the gears.
