Engine: LG4 305
Transmission: T-5 Manual Clutch
Axle/Gears: 3.73 Positraction
World Class T-5

What year was the first year for the World Class T-5 in the F-body? I seen an 88 Formula for sale and was just wondering. I need one for my 83T/A.

yeah 88 and later should be a WCT5 , some things that can make identifying it easier, would be to look at the driver side of the case, in the picture below, the plug that is circled, if it is a bolt and it says ROCKFORD on it, then its a nonWCT5, if its a TORX fastener then its a WCT5. to find out more about the differences between NWCT5`s and WCT5`s check out this sight here, www.5speeds.com
