9in in third gen how hard
9in in third gen how hard
i can get a 9in thats really nice all i need is the pumpkin but how hard is it to put in a 87 iroc. the 9in came ou tof a 57 fairlane but was completely rebuit for a project mustang but was to short
all you need to do to make it work is relocate the brackets off your facotry rear and fab up a little bracket for the torque arm, or make or buy a 4 link or ladder bar set up. it'll bolt right up. makesure the width is correct of change the width to something you can use.

The 57 Fairlane diff will be too short for a third gen also. Should be about 3" shorter on each side.
