I have a 92 305 RS with a TH 350 in it. The problem is when the car shifts from 1st to 2nd. It feels like the tranny is about to come up through the floor. I think the mount may be broken. The guy I got the car from said he changed the shift hardness or something. Any suggestions?

 

replace the mount with a poly one from ES

 

Is there a way to adjust the hardness of the shift? 3rd isnt bad but second is a SOB.

 

Pu the spring back into the accumulator. Big cover thing on the side with t snap ring that holds it in, take that out, there's a piston there, put the spring back in between the piston and the cover. People leave it out to make it do that.
