T56 swappers please step inside
This is a pretty simple question, not the typical "will this fit here, will this fit there"? I'm just trying to track down the electrical connectors for a factory replacement T56. The ones I'm looking for are the reverse light switch connector and the speedo sensor connector. I called the GM dealer around here and he couldn't track it down in his computer. Does anyone have any part #'s for them?
Thanks,
Tom

Well, I can't actually give you the P/N's because I'm at school in NY and my car and the P/N info for that stuff is home in my garage in ME
but I can tell you that the backup light connector is the same as for a T-5, and maybe even for the automatics (don't know that for sure because I have no experience with the automatics). Also the speedo plug is the same as the reverse lockout plug. I got one of each when I did my swap and they're identical! I never did hook up the reverse lockout stuff though, I just push past the gate when I need reverse. In any case my GM parts counter had no trouble look up the P/Ns on their computer, they've been really awesome about stuff like that for me! I'm sure someone on here can get you the exact P/N for the speedo connector though. Sorry I can't give more help, but I hope I helped a little!

12101899 = Speedo (VSS) Connector
12085485 = back up lamp connector
12101857 = Reverse Lockout solenoid
these are all connectors with a bout 12" of wires.
