Speedometer readings?
Someone mentioned to me that changing posi and gears will make for incorrect speedometer readings. Is this something that the shop wil be able to calibrate? If not what is needed for correct readings? How far off will a 2.73 to 3.42 switch throw the speedometer? Thanks. *sorry if this question is asked elsewhere, search function is down*

The speedometer gears are designed to work with the rear end ratio and tire height. Change either one of these and the speedo will be off.
In your case, replacing the ring will require replacing the speedo gears. 3rd gens do not get calibrated, 4th gens do.
Assuming you are still using stock tires, just order the speedo gears that match the new rear end ratio and you will be fine.
If your tire height is not stock or you are changing it too you will need to calculate the correct speedo gears needed.
