Labor Fees
hey guys someone offered me something that sounded pretty nice...he said he would convert my car to standard either T56 or T5, what would you choose???) for 300 bucks plus whatever in parts..should i take it? and which tranny would you want t56 or t5?

dude the t-56 is way stronger, but way more expensive, you can do like two or three t-5 swaps for the price of a t-56 swap. but if you can afford it then do the t-56. also if you are making good power, then a t-5 WILL break sooner or later, i have broke one twice within a year behind a 305

yea if i go manual, t-56 is definetly the way im goin..i figure i can run lower gears since i have six gears to go through..better highway mileage and whatnot and itll be so much fun to say i have a six speed thirdgen
and if i can find a junked 94-97 T-56 Z28 or trans am with reasonable miles im gonna buy it and take the rear, interior, and tranny..do you know how many miles a T-56 can go with a little abuse?
