Car: 1991 Corvette Coupe
Engine: L98
Transmission: 700R4/4L60 same trans different name
i am almost certain that the valve body cant not be modifided..........
the easiest way to do it is to buy the stand alone TCM from TCI
but its about $1000
you MIGHT be able to switch to a 700R4 valvebody (somebody please let me know if you can) although i have heard from professionals that the 700R4 was originally designed as a computer controlled trans, and thats why it didnt work so well, until it became the 4L60E that is
so it would be wiser to stick with 4L60E valvebody, albeit more expensive
anybody else want to shed some light on this?

you'll spend more making the 4L60-E work than you will just getting a good 700-R4.
