Engine: 355 Carb
Transmission: 700R4
Which tranny is best?

is a manual or an auto better? as far as racing goes. i heard no manual can beat a auto on a 1/4 mile unless the manual driver is a ***. so man or auto?

Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 4.10 on a torsen diff
It's a personal preference thing. If you want consistent times, go auto definitely. If it were mine, I would always say manual, but I never go to the drag strip, and if I do, I won't be bracket racing. It would be on test & tune night so I could run the next lane heads up.

manuals take less horsepower away from the engine, and run cooler.
