i have a 700r4 trans in my 73 vette from a 87 trans am,im trying to get the vss working right,it doesn t have a mechanical speedo housing it has an electronic one with a 2 wire plug on it.What i did was i got a vss buffer module and ran the yellow and purple from the plug to the buffer 1 hot 1 ground and the brown wire from the ecm to the buffer.I dont think its working right,when i come up to hard stop it trys to stall.What i want to do is get my mechanical speedo to work and get the vss working,so should i get the vss adapter from painless or summit ?And if i do ,do i still need the buffer,also its a maf tpi setup.anyhelp would be appreciated i did a search but couldnt find anything that pertained.thanks

 

get the adapter from summit. it should straighten things out.
