Engine: 5.7 Tuned Port Injection
Transmission: 700R4 Auto
Axle/Gears: BW 9-Bolt 3.27
700R4 making a sound ONLY in Drive....
And in no other gear. If I drive with it in OD it's not there but all the time in D. It sounds like whistling or a loud vacuum leak. Any1 know what this is?? Thanks.

Can you isolate where the noise is coming from? Maybe have somebody hold it in gear and you crawl down towards the tranny and listen. It won't do it in manual 2nd or 1st? Does it make this noise while driving or only at idle?

It does it at idle and driving, ONLY in Drive, not OD, nothing.
