bending a hurst shifter

bending a hurst shifter

just how much heat is needed to bend a standard shifter handle (hurst in this case) ???

is a propane torch enough, or do i need something bigger????

you might be able to do it with mapp gas, but your better off with acetylene. Make sure it is off the shifter and the ball is removed!!

you'd have to get it red, press would do it without all the damage from heat
