I own a '88 IROC-Z and it had a 700R4 in it. I took it out a couple months back. Im putting a T56 into it as soon as I get one. I am in the process of removing the interior for the conversion to, all I have left os the center console & the carpet.

I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of doing this swap, actually what I need is a picture of where to cut the hole,in the floor? Or are there markings already?

 

Sorry, I don't have a pic of mine. Maybe I can get one here in a few days. But I can tell you that it is not premarked. The only thing premarked is for the pedals. There is a tech article on where to cut the hole. I simply measured the shifter from the bellhousing and cut accourdingly. So unless someone has measurements, your best bet is to wait until you get the tranny.
