Anyone running a rebuilt 9 bolt?

My IROC will be putting down about 375 NA rwhp within the next 2 months. I've contemplated either buying a Moser 12 bolt, or overhauling a 9 bolt. I have a buddy who is willing to sell me his 2.73 equipped rearend. I contacted diffsolutions regarding their rearend kits and am still waiting to hear back. In the meantime, I wanted to know if anyone out there was running 350+ rwhp on a 9 bolt. If so, how are the parts / quality of the kit. I really like the 9 bolt because it is very strong, but will not increase my car's weight, which is why Im steering clear of the 12 bolt. I will be purchasing the complete overhaul kit that has the new POSI, ring & pinion, and install kit.

That 2.73 ratio is for a 10 bolt. The 9 bolt cam with a 2.77. Just clearing that up.

I have nowhere near 350 HP but you will have no problems with a 9 bolt. Good luck with your rebuild!

I know that there are several people that have put a lot of power through them. I believe that Miles actually has been putting 500+ fly wheel hp through one for 2 or 3 years(not sure on exact time) without problems. He is also coming out with some new strengthening products that should allow it to hold more power.

I plan to be putting more than that through mine soon!!! (Maybe tomorrow!)

I can reply back here again to let you know how it goes! I'll be willing to bet the transmission will die before the rear end though!
