ok got the new tranny in along with a 2300 stall converter

at 1/2 throttle to WOT 1-2 shift is nice and firm and perfect, but all the rest are VERY hesitated and seem like they are slipping, you can barely feel them actually.......feels like one long gear........i've adjusted the TV cable a couple times to make sure it wasnt the problem.....what i did was hold in the tab and hit full throttle then where it slid to i let off and let it click into place......that is the correct way.....right??.........


and whats up with this.........the 3-4 shift seems so long and the car drives at the inbetween point for a LONG time!!.....i can tell so, cuz when its at that point i slid the shifter down to 3rd and the rpm's jumped up but not a lot, like it was inbetween shifts..............what could be causing all of this?

i really hope its not expensive!
