T-56 flywheel
If the starter has the big heavy shrouded nose, it may not work. You can then either use the LT1 starter or a vette starter.
Noting from your t-5 will work, not the crossmember, not the flywheel and not the clutch cylinders either.

You can use a T5 clutch and flywheel from a third gen with the LT1 T56. You just need to get the hydraulic throwout bearing from McLeod that allows this. I have one and am installing this soon. And I'm using a T5 master cylinder.

Cute flame Kevin. How many T56 swaps did you say you'd done? Don't be jealous of those who don't fear to tread.
I guess I'll go take pics of the T5 before I ship it out. Right next to the T56.

from what I have seen so far the t-56 anf the t-5 have the same input. so why wouldn't they use the same clutch/flywheel? I can understand the t-56 having a factory 11" clutch but it should work with a 10.4" clutch too.

Also, the LT1 disc is also 10.4" or 10.5" (note that it's on a 153 tooth wheel, 11" clutches traditionally come on 168 wheels,) however the splines in the hub of the disc are reversed (slight taper,) and the springs might be which is why a T5 disc can't be just reversed and used with an LT1 flywheel even though they look the same.
That's why what I am doing will work.

I only recommend what I know works. I've done two swaps, both of which see hard track use. If your smaller diameter clutch holds up to abuse and ~ 1 hp/cube input, then good for you and by all means share the data.

You still don't know the diameter of your clutch.
The Tremec box I built is going 13.5 uncorrected at 5800 ft.
the LT1 trans. that went into Chris's 91 Z will see a 355 with at least a 175 shot in about 45 days. It already saw the same, but on a lesser shortblock.
