Hurst Billet Plus or B&M ripper for T-5?
Would like to know if these are essentially the same or if one has more perks to it than the other.

I have the hurst in my 92 Formula, and the B&M in my 91 Z28 and really prefer the hurst to the B&M. It is much more predictable and easy to manuaver into the right gear. Shorter throw too.
Don't get me wrong, the B&M is a nice piece, and a vast improvement over the stock shifter, but I prefer the hurst.

out of those two i prefer the hurst.
but in my car i have the pro5.0, and REALLY like it. i have used all 3 of them, and the hurst and pro50 are much better than the B&M IMHO. the hurst is great, but nothing beats the 2-3 shift of the pro5.0
