rattling from new clutch when pedal is pressed

i recently put a new clutch in my bird. when it's running, there is a high pitched, rapid chattering that happens when i press the clutch in. if my foot is off the pedal, everything is fine. but the second i even rest my foot on the clutch pedal, it sounds like there is a family of hyperactive chipmunks living in my trans tunnel. any ideas?

FYI-flywheel resurfaced, new clutch disk, pressure plate, TO bearing, and clutch fork
