Engine: tpi 355
Transmission: t56 6 speed manual
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.90
3rd gen rear wheel size?
Anyone out there know just how big a wheel (rim) you can fit on an 84 T/A with stock ride height and rear end assy? Will a 15x10 with 5" backspacing fit with say a 295/50/15 tire? If 15x10 will not fit, what is suggested backspacing on a 15x8 wheel?

I dont beleive that you can fit a ten inch wheel on it, you can however fit a 9.5 inch 17" wheel, dont know about a 15" wheel, but 9.5 inchs wide is 9.5inchs wide.
screw the 15"s and get some 9.5"X17" with 5.5" backspacing and run a 275/40/17 tire (make sure that front suspension is tight though)
