Found some 9 Bolt gears, will these work?
I found a set of 3.23 gears from a 9 bolt. are these 2 series gears that can take the place of my 2.77 gears i currently have? all i gota do is swap the gears and re-shim it right?
what am i missing here? the gears are $180 is that a decent price?

Actually there is now a 3.23 ratio available for the 9 bolt. I have them in stock. For 180, it's definately not a new 9 bolt gear though.
The only other ratio that will fit directly on series 2 carrier is a 3.08 Everything else (up to 4.10) requires a series 3 carrier.

so if it IS a 9 bolt gear, 3.23, then it will fit in my 2 series carrier?
the posi is slipping right now, if i put those 3.23's in can i just re-shim the posi to make it stick once again?
and is that it?

I had a 3.27 in my 9 bolt stock. You might want to check out www.9bolt.com they have complete install kits and carriers.

... and charge $1100 for all the parts i would need...
No, i think i will put in a 10 bolt. this will be a street car, so a simple SLP zexel, some motive gears, and some used 28 spline axles will fit the bill. i just wont hook, thats all. been there done that.
