Will a 2.8 tranny (5 speed) bolt up to a 3.1? I don't think that there should be a problem with this cause the 3.1 is just a stroked out 2.8 right? Another question that I have is will my computer take that transmission or am I going to be getting a bunch of errors if and wen I try to drive it away?

yes it will bolt up as long as its from an f-body (and going into an f-body for that matter)

your ECM will accept the trans

 

I just wanted to say thanks for the info, I just wanted to make sure that the ECM would accept it, before I spent the time to do this.
