vigilante stalls worth the $$$?

vigalante claims .5 et gain. that sounds like alot to me. will i really see a gain this big? also what size stall should i get on a basically stock 350. in the furture i plan on an lt4 hotcam and heads, until then the car is stock with bolt ons. i just dont want to spend 700 on a convertor whenn one for 500 will be the same.

thanks,

David

I saw an ET improvement of about 4 tenths over the stock converter. 2 tenths of that was in the 60' time and 2 tenths from the improved torque multiplication down the track. This is on an internally stock L98 with exhaust and the free/cheap mods. I went with 2600 RPM stall since my combo is so mild.

ANyone noticing any losses in fuel economy around town with your 2600-2800 stall converters? thats my biggest worry.

I have a their multi disc converter @ 2800 rpm. It does exactly what it says on the tin! Great piece of kit.
